Recently, I finally became a member of the Traveling Carrier Program in the Facebook group Babywearers of Color. Best decision yet!
I am able to try many sorts of carriers and wraps over a 2 week period, in which these wraps are also excellent quality.
Over the past week I have been wrapping Baby Li'el in the which looks like this.... Tekhni Meandros

For newbies to babywearing, this fabric is considered woven, where the fabric is not stretchy like a Moby or Boba Wrap. This wrap is ideal for back carries if you feel ready to begin carrying your baby on your back.
A woven wrap is much more versatile compared to many other wraps, especially carriers.
How has babywearing saved the days... all the days???
Well let me tell you, baby Li'el had two rough weeks in a row.
It's very possible that he could have sensed the shift of not being in a familiar environment, plus whatever else babies go through...
But the moment I wrapped him in that Tekhni wrap... IT was a wrap!
He fell asleep so quickly, I kind of wasn't prepared to lay him down yet.
Oh yea, I forgot to mention, most wraps come with something known as 'sleepy dust' no matter how many times you wash it!
Babywearing will save mommy and a teething fussy baby, a sleepy fussy baby, a fussy baby that's just....fussy, and will also save the day even when the little one is already content and mommy just needs to get a feeeeew things done!
Without the help of a partner, boyfriend or husband and as a single mother, I can assure you, babywearing is very convenient and will become your best friend...Maybe even like a boyfriend or something.
There are mamas out there who do have a partner, and still seem to find themselves doing IT alone, single-handedly, and are in search for some assistance or a third hand. A fourth one would be even better!
Realistically, investing in a wrap would be totally worth it.
And Basically, Babywearing saves ALL THE DAYS!
